Our strategy as a church is to love Cupertino and the surrounding communities.
To do this we have formed partnerships with existing local & global nonprofit organizations who are already supporting, loving, and meeting the needs of our community. These nonprofits do amazing work that we want to encourage and invest in with our resources.
Our church plans events and opportunities throughout the year to move our people into our community to care for our neighbors in need by serving with these great nonprofit partners. To make a deeper impact, we focus on two areas - children & the homeless/near homeless.
Foster the City is a coalition of churches providing loving homes for every child in foster care. We agree together that the church should be the place where abused and neglected children become beloved daughters and sons. Currently, we have several families supporting this effort in various ways.
Help One Child is an organization focused on recruiting, training, and supporting those willing to provide a home or volunteer services to at-risk children. They provide support to any family caring for an at-risk child. Help One Child partners with hundreds of churches in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
West Valley Community Services provides direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County. They provide a continuum of basic needs, family support services, and housing services including information and referrals, food pantry, transitional housing, affordable housing, financial assistance, family support, and case management services.
Following the example of Jesus, NCM partners with local churches around the world to clothe, shelter, feed, heal, educate, and live in solidarity with those who suffer under oppression, injustice, violence, poverty, hunger, and disease. NCM exists to proclaim the Gospel to all people in word and deed.
